A Living and Changing History
As former teachers and/or students of Peoria High School, we have developed a love for the school and its history. We know that history, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. This is why we have developed a format where everyone can add to the history of the school with articles, comments or pictures.

What you will find . . .
We have decided that the best way to share the history of the school is by decades. For example, in each decade we have the following:
- A historical timeline of events in U.S., Arizona, and Peoria history
- Pictures of all members of the administration and the years they served
- Pictures of teachers and the years they served as well as the subjects they taught
- Pictures of senior classes during that decade
- Articles involving sports, clubs, activities, and odds and ends
- Articles that deal with the issues of that particular decade, as an example we talk about the Vietnam War in the 60s
- Entertainment of the decade, such as music, movies, and tv shows
After the introduction, you will be able to read about any decade by selecting a link from the menu in the top left corner of the page. Check out the Vault at the bottom of each page which includes more pictures and articles.
Have fun reliving the history of Peoria High School and please do not be afraid to correct anything that you feel is wrong on our part. Also, feel free to contact us with any articles or pictures you would like for us to consider adding to any Vault.
