2022: 100 Years of Panther Pride

 Peoria  High School was built in 1922 in a rural agricultural community.  After  100 years it is still standing, and the school and community would like  for you to join us to celebrate 100 years of excellence.

We  have developed a two phase plan, through the PHS Booster Club, to  restore some of the history of the school and also to celebrate with  past graduates and teachers.

Phase 1 –  Restore and save the history of which you were involved in.  We have a  brick project for former students, teachers and anyone else who would  like to donate.  This is to raise money to preserve and maintain our  history.  Some of our projects:

• Build a secure area to preserve all of our yearbooks dating back to 1934.
• Restoring the Japanese garden.
• Purchasing  an 8 foot Panther to commemorate the 100 year celebration. This will be  placed in the area between the library and administrative offices
• Surround  the Panther with bricks which you have purchased to honor our students  and former teachers. We have already secured $2000 in donations for  students and teachers who have passed away.
• Building an area for awards, trophies and historical events.
• Maintaining history website at: www.PeoriaAzPanthers.org
• Honor graduates who served in the military 
• Panther to celebrate 100 years of excellence. It will    be placed in the area between the library and the office.  

The celebration will include:  small group guided tours of Peoria High School campus, slide show presentation, shirts for graduates and teachers, a small dinner, and admission to that night's football game where you will be introduced.

Cost for the evening will be $25 for the first person and $15 dollars for guests. People who purchase a brick will only pay $15 for the celebration.
